My name is Ian Emerson and I am the newly appointed ‘Chair of the Governing Body’ at Rosemary Lane Nursery School.
I have a long nostalgic history with ‘Rosemary Lane Nursery School’ over the generations, from beginning my own education journey at the age of three, to claiming front seat in the car after picking my younger sister up several years later … to now watching my son follow the tradition a little under 30 years down the road.
Over the past 3 years I have been building a life so as to be in a place where I get to wake up every morning and do something I love. I run my own business within the Creative Design / Media Industry, I have a passion for bringing ideas to life … having being involved with the Governing Body for a few months now it’s a great feeling knowing that every day I have an opportunity to be part of a team who so brilliantly help shape the futures of our children.
My passion is to help people become the best versions of themselves, fanatical about people development and growth, with 10 years’ experience in visualising performance and driving improvement working for market leading organisations within a retail environment.
I would describe myself as a committed individual, who brings passion, professionalism and humour into any workplace …. It’s a fine line but I believe I have just about mastered it.
