I became interested in becoming a governor at Rosemary Lane Nursery School to play an active role in supporting the already superb learning environment that the nursery team provide. I have been a primary school teacher for 8 years and completed a 4 year degree at Sunderland University and feel my experience, knowledge and understanding of the Early Years and Primary Curriculum and the needs of young children will only supplement the fantastic provision for our young children at Rosemary Lane Nursery School and in County Durham.
My daughter has attended the nursery from being 2 year old and I cannot wait for our latest addition to the family to attend nursery school in the future. I have always been impressed by the welcoming, warm, friendly feeling when entering the nursery and I am looking forward to working alongside the nursery and governing team.
