My son has attended Rosemary Lane Nursery since January 2022 and my daughter will soon attend too. Having been to this nursery as a child myself and now seeing my son so happy here; I am excited for the opportunity to be Parent Governor.
I am a Primary school teacher with my experience predominately in Early Years and Year 1. I taught for 4 years in Warwickshire before we moved back to Easington Village in 2019. I now teach Reception in Sunderland. My main interests are the teaching of Early reading, phonics and mathematics. I also have an interest in Special Needs Education and am currently completing my SENDCO Qualification through Sunderland University.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and two children.
