I have been a Parent Governor at Rosemary Lane Nursery School since 2022. I live in Easington Village and have three children, Charlie, age 6, Hallie, age 3 and Emmie, age 1. In my spare time, I enjoy family days out with my children and love making special memories together.
I am a Primary School teacher and Assistant SENDCO in Sunderland. I have a wealth of experience in Early Years and Key Stage 1. My background of working in schools with children for over 10 years enables me to fully understand the curriculum within Rosemary Lane Nursery. My experiences with SEN children in my own school and my NASENCO Qualification allows me to fulfil my role efficiently as SEN Governor and it is the area I am most passionate about.
I am a very organised individual and strive for the best for all children. I thoroughly enjoy my role as Parent Governor at Rosemary Lane Nursery and believe my skills enable me to support school staff in their vision to provide all children with experiences and learning opportunities to help them thrive in this early and crucial stage of their lives. I look forward to continuing to work closely with school staff to achieve the very best outcomes for our children.
