We offer a range of different sessions and services for the children and families in our community.
2 Year Old Children
We offer morning sessions for 2 year old children from 8.45am to 11.45am. We have funded Play and Learn places and paid for private places. If you think you are eligible for a funded place please collect a form from Ann in the office to apply to the local authority or go onto the Durham County Council parent portal to apply online. If you receive a “Golden Ticket” in the post please bring this to Nursery as your confirmation of funding.
Blue teddies have wonderful facilities and resources both indoors and outdoors to promote independence and exploratory learning. The children are supported by skilled practitioners, trained and experienced in working with 2s.
3 and 4 Year Old Children
We offer all 3-4year old children a 15hour funded place. Where parents are entitled we offer the additional 15hours to make a 30hour place for 3-4 year old children.
To support children on the 30hour offer, who attend for full days, we amend our afternoon session. Therefore we offer a choice of mornings or 2.5 days at the beginning of the week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning) or end of the week (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday) to children accessing 15hour, 3-4year places.
