During school holiday times children are given a small bag with a message, asking parents to help the children to collect something small from their time away from nursery. This could be a bus ticket, stone, shell, photograph, string from an allotment. The children enjoy telling their Key Person group about their “treasure” and parents often write comments. Staff then use these in the child’s Learning Journey book.
