I serve as the Vice Chair and Co-opted Governor at Rosemary Lane Nursery, a role I have embraced since 2022. My journey as a Governor began even earlier, having dedicated four years as a Parent Governor at the Church of England Primary School in Easington Village.
I love my frequent visits to Rosemary Lane Nursery, they provide me with great opportunities to spend time with the children and the dedicated staff. I find immense joy in observing the children as they learn through play, a testament to the nursery’s vibrant and nurturing environment.
Professionally, I am a Customer Service Manager for a UK distribution company. I bring a wealth of business acumen to my role as a governor, leveraging my skills to approach governance with a professional and strategic mindset. My commitment to the nursery is deeply personal; as my daughter, now 15, attended Rosemary Lane, and we continue to reside in the village. This connection fuels my dedication to maintaining the nursery’s excellence and ensuring it remains a cornerstone of the community.
My tenure as a governor has been marked by witnessing and contributing to the nursery’s evolution. I value the dynamic nature of my role, staying agile and informed as policies and regulations shift. My extensive experience and proactive approach help me be an asset to the nursery, where I strive to support its ongoing success and adaptation to new challenges.
