FARM visit for White, Green, Purple, Yellow, Orange and Red teddy groups 20th May 2019
The older nursery children are all invited to join us with a parent/carer for a fulfilled family visit to Tweddle Farm.
To be able to support the children and make the most of the activities on the farm we have decided to make this into a family trip. We will have full use of the farm facilities for this day. Parents can bring along younger siblings and pay for their entry on the gate.
Gardening Day – Thursday 16th May 2019, 8.45-10am
Parents, carers, grandparents, aunts and uncles are all invites to come along to help the children prepare the nursery garners for summer. We will be setting up the greenhouse, spring cleaning the driveway, planting the containers and decorating pots. It will be a busy hour followed by a thank you cuppa and slice of homemade cake.
All garden donations are welcome but not essential.
Chick eggs have arrived…
The nursery children will all be learning more about life cycles, growth and change through hatching chicks. The eggs will be going into the incubator in the entrance area tomorrow.
Nursery Bonfire – 1st November
The older children will be learning about fire safety through observing a real fire outdoors in the Nursery garden. We will be toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate as a special treat.
